ProFE Cameroon: Produced charcoal offered in supermarkets for the first time

One of the aims of the ProFE project in Cameroon is to produce charcoal from sawmill waste and thus to use forest resources sustainably. In order to further develop the sales channels, parts of the charcoal produced are now also sold in supermarkets. For this purpose, a new and sustainable paper packaging was developed, which wraps the charcoal cleanly and safely.

The new distribution channel simultaneously increases the profit margin and thus the income of the producers.
