ECO Consult investigates into the charcoal trade

Wood energy ist among the agricultural value chains that are particularly targeted by the EU's AFAFI-Centre programme in Madagascar. On a recent mission, ECO Consult senior expert Michaël Temmerman gathered data for assessing the commercialization of charcoal and improved stoves. The field meeting with stakeholders was part of the effort to capitalize on one of the individual projects' experience and best practices. The AFAFI-Centre programme also occupies with gardening, poultry farming, fruit growing, dairy, rice and fish farming.
