Job
description:		 Senior and medium experts (international or locally based) for the evaluation of EC’s support to Nigeria.

Analysis of contribution of EC financed interventions to the overall objective of poverty reduction.

Sectors covered by this evaluation:
Focal sectors:
- Water and Sanitation (institutional reforms, policy support)
- State and local institutional and economic reform (Governance, Public finance management and service delivery)
Other sectors:
- Elections, Human Rights
- Immunisation

Duration: 30-90 days (depending on the expert’s position in the team) over several months. Field phase max. three weeks.

Requested profile/
Qualifications:

 Up to four experts with outstanding experiences in the following areas :
- Strategy evaluation (Country/ Regional level) or Policy evaluation (sector level)
- Impact analyses
- EuropAid methodology
- Sector specific knowledge in one or two of the above-mentioned sectors
- Excellent English skills
- at least 15 years (Senior Experts) resp. 10 years (Medium Experts) of relevant experience in policy/ programme/ project evaluation and planning in ACP Countries.
