Multi-stakeholder policy dialogues on forestry and environmental education in Central Africa


Adequately educated professionals are crucial to the sustainable management of forests but for individual countries it is difficult to meet the various needs. COMIFAC provides the opportunity to join efforts and benefit from the broad offer. To contribute to this convergence process, RIFFEAC (Réseau des Institutions de Formation Forestière et Environnementale d’Afrique centrale ) in partnership with German InWEnt works towards a respective policy framework on forestry and environmental education to ensure the required standards. In 2010, ECO supports the partnership’s activities by a cascade of multi-stakeholder policy dialogues.
