Multi-stakeholder policy dialogues on forestry and environmental
education in Central Africa
Adequately educated professionals are crucial to the sustainable
management of forests but for individual countries it is difficult
to meet the various needs. COMIFAC provides the opportunity to join
efforts and benefit from the broad offer. To contribute to this
convergence process, RIFFEAC (Réseau des Institutions de
Formation Forestière et Environnementale d’Afrique
centrale ) in partnership with German InWEnt works towards a respective
policy framework on forestry and environmental education to ensure
the required standards. In 2010, ECO supports the partnership’s
activities by a cascade of multi-stakeholder policy dialogues.
