travellers by train:

from Western/South Western directions (e.g. via Frankfurt/Main) the easiest way is to catch a train to Treysa station. From there, it is another 25 km to Oberaula.

From the East (e.g. Leipzig), North (e.g. Hannover-Berlin) and South (e.g. Fulda-Würzburg) you may want to travel to Bad Hersfeld (final distance to Oberaula also 25 km).

travellers by car:

Take the A7 motorway to exit Kirchheim. At the traffic lights, turn right - direction of Schwalmstadt (Oberaula). From Kirchheim to Oberaula it is about 10 km.

Some 100 metres after the yellow place name sign „Oberaula“ you will see a red-white brick building on the right hand side, no. 17.

Please take the stairs on the left side to reach the main entrance.
